I have not spent this much time at the airport(s) in one sitting since... well it's been a long time! and I have NO PEOPLE to talk to!!! Still though, I feel like a champ for getting through my first flight to Chicago, and in a few short hours I will begin the 9 hour flight to Helsinki, Finland.

But then I will be there and I will be meeting up with the family, so that will be good!
And while the airport is not the worlds most exciting place, I am one of the only people at my gate who speaks English as a primary language. I feel both special and absurdly uncultured. That will be changing soon though!
I feel like this trip is a first step.
