Land of the Midnight Sun

I said this place earned the name and I meant it!

It is 3am here and the sun looks like it is has been rising for some time! and it never really got dark at all... there was about an hour when it looked like dusk, but that was the darkest of it.

Im told that from here on out it will get darker and darker until it is night all the time with hardly any light... then it begins getting lighter again!

On this note I add, that it gets so cold here, all the windows are like triple pained to keep the cold out! it is set up so that you can control the blinds like you normally would from the outside, but you are always separated by a layer of thick class!

After I figured out the blinds... 

This is the view of my windows right now from the bed!  the blinds are closed, but still a lot of light gets through... it makes it kind of hard to sleep!

and right now I don't want to sleep.. there is too much to do! but I know I should, so I will!
